This is the first installment in a two-part series on How to Renew Your Deck with Composite Decking that shows you how to update an old deck using composite materials. You can extend the life and beauty of your treated lumber deck by replacing worn or damaged wood with composite materials. Were removing all the treated lumber materials but leaving the framework intact, since it is strong and structurally sound. Then were going to install composite materials to enhance the look of the deck. Composite materials are manufactured in a variety of colors and styles. This first part of the two-part series shows you how to install new composite posts and decking. The second will guide you through installing new composite railings, balusters and post caps.
