We used 4×10 western red cedar for our rafters and 4×12 cedar for the beam. We used a 6×6 cedar post that we will trim with a 1×10 to give the posts a larger look. The top pieces are a 2×2 cedar for shading the sun. Next we will install stone veneer around the post base.
