    Yes, you turn the joint a 1/4 turn to make sure the glue is smeared evenly between the two pieces and insures an even coat of glue.

    If she does all pvc or cpvc joints like the way she did this one at :35 she may have leaks. The joints shouldn’t be pushed straight together. She does give it a slight turn at the end, but the joints should be turned about 1/4 turn while pushing. She didn’t even give it an 1/8 turn. The directions are on the can of solvent.
